Dear Families,

It is time to begin our enrollment process for the 2013-14 school year.  We thank you for your continued support of our preschool program here at GUMP! 

Please download our new enrollment form using the pink button to your right and print a copy for each child you wish to enroll.  In addition to paying the enrollment fee ($55 for one child, $80 for two or more) by check or cash, you now have the added convenience of paying the enrollment fee by credit card using the green payment button to your right.  If you decide to pay online using a credit card, please print a copy of your receipt and attach it to your application. Once you have completed the application and decided upon your method of payment, you may return your child’s application along with your enrollment fee (check/cash) or charge card receipt beginning Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 at 9:15 a.m. at the Preschool Office.   As a family presently enrolled, you have priority for enrollment until Feb. 1, 2013.  Children will be placed on a first come first served basis even among those currently enrolled.  To increase your chances of your first choice being honored, please return your application (including enrollment fees) ASAP on Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013 even if your child does not attend school on that day.  Priority registration will end on Feb. 1, 2013 at 3:00 p.m., and we will begin filling our rosters with families on our waiting list who are not currently enrolled.

If your child is currently enrolled and has a late Aug. or  Sept. birthday, one detail to note is that the state of TN has changed the birthday cutoff for public school kindergarten to Aug. 31, 2013 for the 2013-14 school year and Aug. 15, 2014 for the 2014-15 school year.  For children with late Aug. and Sept. birthdays, this change may affect your child’s placement for next year at GUMP.  Please contact us if your child is affected by this change and you have questions or concerns.  Our goal is to keep your child with his/her peers while at GUMP and beyond, so whether your child attends public or private elementary school, he/she will be on track for entering kindergarten after leaving GUMP.
