With the very dry Summer, it is amazing how colorful the leaves were this Fall.THe Maple trees were the brightest crimson they've ever been since we moved here.
This is a Polyphemus Moth that hatched in our front yard this Summer.
As Dot approached, it could only flap it's wings about because it was still drying them.
When Dot came back later to check on it, it had flown away.
The Pond is a magnet for fallen leaves.
